January 2015, I was fortunate to book a catalog shoot for Ben Marc, which sells women’s church and business dresses and suits. Surprisingly, my friend, and NTG model, Fay, also booked the shoot, which made the day that much better! 🙂

I have to admit though, this was one of the most difficult photo shoots I have ever done. Simply because I’m so used to photographers wanting me to move and change poses between shots. This photographer also wanted the same, however I had to move less fluid, and more in a stiff, mannequin manner to ensure that the garments don’t bunch up or wrinkle. No hands on hips (as I would normally hold like on the runway), no awkward bending, no serious faces. All smiles, all straight, light touching, show off the garment highlights (pockets, jackets, stripes, design, etc.)! It took me awhile to get the hang of what they wanted, but after a few looks (I shot in approximately 20-25 different garments), I had it down, and no longer had to be directed by the owner. LOL! Check out some of my fave photos below for Ben Marc and Stacy Adams!

Note: People have been saying that Fay & I look like twins! Hilarious! … lucky her! lol

Note 2: The short hair is a wig, and I have not cut my hair!  Comment below & let me know your thoughts on my short look.
